Christina Sandera, the other half of Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood, has had her cause of death confirmed after she died earlier this month.
Her death certificate has been published by the Monterey County Health Department which lists the details.
Seen first by the New York Post, the publication reports that the Monterey County Health Department has cited a heart attack as the cause of death.
Eastwood’s partner’s official cause of death was detailed as cardiac arrhythmia, an abnormal heart rhythm, with atherosclerotic coronary artery disease as a contributing factor.
Sandera died at the age of 61, making her 33 years Eastwood’s junior at the time of her death.
The veteran Hollywood actor released a short statement at the time of her death when he confirmed the news.
He said: “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”
Tributes from far and wide soon flooded in for Sandera as fans and family members honoured her memory.
Morgan Eastwood, the 27-year-old daughter of Clint’s from his marriage to ex-wife Dina, shared a snap from her wedding day alongside her father and stepmother.
She penned: “A devastating loss for our whole family.
“Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad… you will be missed.”
The couple first became entangled romantically a decade ago and spent much of their 10-year romance out of the public eye.
Sandera would often keep a low profile but had been seen accompanying her partner to a handful of A-list events.
Their final red carpet appearance together came in 2019 when Sandera joined Eastwood at the AFI Fest in Hollywood.

The pair never married although Eastwood does have two ex-wives: Maggie Johnson to whom he was married from 1953 to 1984, and Dina Ruiz from 1996 to 2014.
The late 61-year-old worked as a hostess at Clint’s Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, when they first crossed paths.
