JFK airport fire: New York airport evacuated as terminal overwhelmed by smoke

Several passengers have 'evacuated' onto tarmac outside John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York after reports of a fire. CBS News reports the incident saw all of Terminal 8 evacuated this morning, with firefighters arriving on scene shortly after 7am to reports of smoke.Fire crews found an escalator in the building on fire.
