Joe Biden’s farewell speech to Americans has been lambasted by Brandon Tatum in a fiery rant on GBN America.
The political commentator joined Mark Dolan to react to the 81-year-old’s decision to quit the presidential race and his subsequent address to Americans.
Tatum felt the speech was inauthentic, with Biden simply reeling off a statement prepared by a script writer.
He also said Biden failed to address the matter lurking in the minds of Americans as he delivered the address.
“I thought it was completely incomplete and pathetic to a certain degree”, he said.
“I do admire the speechwriter because I think they attempted to add some pretty good verbiage to give the president an opportunity to address the nation.

“In reality, you’re watching him read a teleprompter. In many cases, he could not read the teleprompter properly. He had to repeat sentences.
“It makes it disingenuous in the things that he’s saying. Also, the elephant in the room is the fact he didn’t address why he actually stepped down.”
In the televised address, Biden told Americans that he decided to end his faltering re-election campaign in a bid to save US democracy.
His poor debate showing against Donald Trump last month set alarm bells ringing in Democrat circles with the 81-year-old doing little to quell fears about his cognitive ability.
The president stumbled on his words on multiple occasions as he clashed with his Republican foe, who accused Biden of “not knowing what he’s saying”.
Biden said he endorsed Vice President Harris to unite the Democrats and America.
He spoke for 11 minutes from the Oval Office with his wife, Jill, son, Hunter, and daughter, Ashley, alongside some key White House Staff.
“I have decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation”, he said.
“That is the best way to unite our nation.”
The president vowed to “finish the job for the American people” before the end of his term in January next year.
He branded Harris, 59, an “experienced, tough, capable” partner.
