King Charles is expected to meet the bereaved families from Southport following a mass stabbing on July 29.

The monarch will offer his condolences and support to the families of the victims in London tomorrow.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, were killed during the attack which was followed by rioting in Southport and across the country.

A group of children were taking part in a sold-out Taylor Swift-themed class at a dance centre in the town when a knifeman carried out an offensive.

In the 10 days after the incident, riots erupted across the UK and resulted in 422 people in England and Wales being charged in connection with the violent disorder.

Axel Rudakubana, 18, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a knife.

Charles is set to meet some of the surviving children who were present during the attack in Southport later today.

His Majesty is travelling to northern England to offer his support to those affected by the incident which saw the death of three children and 10 others injured.
