King Charles is desperate for “reconciliation above all” with his estranged son Prince Harry, according to royal commentator Michael Cole.
The monarch is reportedly concerned about his youngest son’s future, with finances topping the list of issues.
Speaking on GB News, Cole told Bev Turner that Charles is always likely to come to Harry’s aid if financial issues arise due to his burning desire to rekindle ties.
“King Charles has had a tap of the shoulder from fate”, he said.
“He’s got cancer. He, above all, wants reconciliation with his younger son.
“He would perhaps take a view that if he can help his son, he will. The door has already been opened.

William and Harry suffer fresh heartbreak as their uncle dies aged 82King worries about Harry’s future once ‘all the money runs out’Beatrice’s fashion taste called into question following recent accolade
“He is always open to Prince Harry, even though he said some very unkind, uncharitable and very hurtful things not just about the King, but the Queen.
“Queen Camilla, Prince William and the Princess of Wales. There’s a lot of bad blood there, I’m afraid.”
Cole went onto suggest Harry and Meghan Markle are haemorrhaging money in California with costly ventures.
He told GB News it could one day “run out”, meaning the duke could resort to calling on a few favours from his family.
“I would have thought that with the lifestyle they have adopted in Montecito, it’s extremely expensive”, he said.
“You can burn through an awful lot of money with security around the clock, 365 days of the year.
“Three ships of burly men costs a lot of money notwithstanding all the electronic surveillance and all the rest of it.
“They have high expectations. Although they have earned a great deal of money from Netflix in particular and other ventures they are undertaking or have completed, you can quickly become poor and their ambitions are high.”
It comes after author Robert Jobson claimed in his new book that King Charles is concerned about what he dubs “the Harry problem”.
“‘What worries His Majesty, and his top team,’ says a Palace official, ‘is what is going to happen when all the money runs out.’”
