Former Scotland Yard detective Peter Bleksley has furiously blasted “lawless Britain” after a horror knife attack took place in the capital this morning.

Two victims, an 11-year-old girl and a 34-year-old woman, were rushed to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight in Leicester Square, London.

This has caused the ex-cop to claim that Britain’s streets have been “surrendered to criminals.”

He told GB News: “Here we go again, lawless Britain. The absolute epidemic of knife crime that plagues our nation.

“Leicester Square has world-renowned restaurants, cinemas and casinos. It is the epicentre of the tourist industry and headlines this dreadful attack.

“I wish both of the victims the best in their recovery, headlines about this will go around the world to every corner of the earth.”
