LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau makes Kamala Harris offer after Donald Trump collaboration

Bryson DeChambeau is ‘more than willing’ to play with Kamala Harris or any other member of the Democratic Party after his video with former president Donald Trump went viral.

The reigning US Open champion is one of the biggest golf stars in the world and his YouTube channel has seen him reach new heights of popularity.

He has over one million subscribers with videos alongside superstars such as Chris Pratt and Phil Mickelson being watched by millions.

But none compare to the traffic that his latest video with Trump got after it dropped online earlier this week.

The video amassed more than six millions views in less than 48 hours and us one of the top trending videos on YouTube.

DeChambeau has spoken previously at feeling ‘very lucky to have a relationship’ with Trump and the two have played together previously.

But the American golfer was quick to dismiss any suggestion that his video with Trump had anything to do with his own political beliefs.

“First off, it’s an honor to play with anybody of that type of influence, no matter who it is on any political side,” he said.

“Again, this whole content piece, it’s a content creation piece, was about delivering some unique different content on YouTube, and we wanted to showcase the golf abilities of any influential person, and he was definitely up on a list that I wanted to showcase.

“We were able to call out and ask him to play, and he said yeah, absolutely. We asked the other side, as well, and anyone that wants to play. They’re more than willing to do something for charity.

“Wanted to make it about charity and the wounded warriors foundation. I’ve done a lot for them in the past, and it was fantastic to see that he was willing to support it, as well, as well as anybody that wants to support their charity, I’m more than willing to do a fundraiser for them and drive a lot of traction to those charities, whichever they are.

“That was a mainstay of mine, and I wanted to create some cool content. He’s obviously a figure that can pull a lot of views, and we thought it would be great to showcase his golfing ability, and he’s a pretty good golfer.

“It was a lot of fun to do, and it took a little bit, but we got it approved and it was fun to shoot. It happened in three days. I think we did it on July 6 on Saturday, so it was a few weeks before all the stuff went down, and yeah, it was a great time.

“We had a blast, and again, I look forward to doing a lot more of those with other influential people.”

When asked directly whether he had made a request to Kamala Harris yet, DeChambeau replied: “Whether it’s Obama or anyone else on that side, I’m more than willing to play with them. I have no issues whatsoever.

“That’s the thing about golf is that the more we can utilize golf to bring everyone together in a cool way, I think that’s the vision of the global game of golf.

“It’s important for me, inspiring a younger generation is huge for me, and that’s why I think this YouTube space is so cool because it really shows everyone’s true side.

“That’s what I’m trying to accomplish, and it’s definitely helped me on that regard, and I can’t wait to hopefully do it with others.”
