Commuters into the capital face morning chaos as a trespasser causes major delays to Transport for London and Chiltern Railways services.

All incoming and outgoing services to Marylebone Station have been cancelled indefinitely after a person was spotted on the tracks at Willesden Green in North West London.

The trespasser ensured there is no Metropolitan Line service between Wembley Park to Aldgate.

The Jubilee Line was also suspended between West Hampstead and Wembley Park.

National Rail expects “major disruption” for all services arriving at Marylebone Station until 9am.

However, other lines have also been disrupted in the early hours of Friday morning.

Major disruption is also proving a problem for CrossCountry and Greater Anglia commuters between Bishops Stortford, Stansted Airport and Cambridge.

Lines also re-opened just less than half-an-hour ago on East Midlands Railway and Thameslink services after a signalling fault between Luton and London St Pancras.

Thameslink’s service from London Bridge and London Blackfriars is facing disruption following a points failure, with disruption expected until 10am.
