Mike Tyson has revealed just how much work he is putting in every day as he prepares to step back into the ring to face 27-year-old Jake Paul on November 15.
The arranged fight between Paul and Tyson, which will be shown live on Netflix, has drawn plenty of controversy due to the age difference between the two fighters.
The 31-year age gap is the biggest in professional boxing history with the first set to be officially sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Tyson has attempted to play down the disadvantage many feel he has against the much younger Paul, despite the fight’s original date being pushed back after he suffered a health scare on a plane.
At 58 years of age, there are genuine fears from boxing officials for Tyson’s health and wellbeing.
But the former undisputed heavyweight world champion is doing everything he can it seems to best prepare himself for his first professional fight since 2005.

“I’m nervous too,” he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“But the closer it gets to the fight, the least nervous I get.”
He added: “I’m training extremely hard.
“I start at 11am and I might leave the gym at 5pm.
“There’s a small break and then I go straight into strength and conditioning.”
Paul’s foray into boxing began in 2020 with his second professional fight coming on the undercard for Tyson’s exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr.
He’s since built up a professional record with 10 wins and just one loss – to Tommy Fury in 2023.
But Tyson is aiming to end Paul’s short boxing career when they meet in under two months.
“I started Jake Paul off,” he said.
