‘The link between football and riots needs to be looked at!’ claims former Prison Governor

A former Prison Governor Vanessa Frake-Harris has claimed that “The link between football and riots needs to be looked at.”

It comes as it has been revealed that many of those involved in the riots have links to organised football hooligan groups.

The England League is set to start this weekend and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer acknowledged that forces will be on “high alert” with “football added in the mix”.
