There's a certain excitement that fills the air when, once a week on a Friday, just a few seconds short of 8.30pm, the first track of the night turns over and that magical ‘Mic Live’ light goes on — signalling the start of two hours of live, high-energy uplifting trance anthems.

For those two hours, DJ, Producer and firmly established Radio Host Mr Gee broadcasts The Essential Vibe to a global audience, championing the biggest upfront productions, future anthems, unreleased exclusives and brand new beats from some of the most respected labels in the scene.

His journey began back in the 1990s, constructing a school radio station and developing a passion for blending music discovery with live performance. That passion followed him through university radio, commercial stations and long-standing residencies.

Today, that journey continues with DanceFMLive.com — a fully licensed radio network broadcasting from the North West of England to listeners across the world, with multiple channels catering for every electronic music taste.

Alongside radio, Mr Gee has built a respected production career, releasing charted anthems such as “I'm Lovin’ You”, “Rain”, “Cybercore” and more, while consistently supporting and championing the next generation of electronic music talent.
